Any subject, taken at any time is eligible for entry. View Winners February People Images of "human form". Children at Play, Portraits, Candids, etc.  View Winners March Still Life Images of inanimate objects and having no motion. A simple arrangement of objects and of creative imagination. Choose a theme and your objects carefully. Consider how each item relates to your theme and to each other in color, size and shape.  View Winners April Motion Images that show action and gives the "feeling" of motion.  View Winners May Animals Any and all animals except humans- subject must be living at time photo captured!  View Winners June Silhouettes A scene or photograph in which the background is much more brightly lit than the subject. Colors are lost in the subject, further emphasizing shape.  View Winners July General Any subject, within 24 months. Photograph that represents a concept, idea, invention, or other tangible object created by mankind that impacts or has impacted human society. Originality and creativity of the subject matter will be highly considered in the judge's decisions. View Winners November Abstract Abstract images aren't pictures of objects; they're pictures of shapes, textures, lines and the like. They are generally produced by moving in close to an everyday object to include only a small part of it in the photo, by zeroing in on a small part of a distant subject with a long lens, by deliberately throwing the subject out of focus, or by shooting a subject's reflection rather than (or along with) the subject itself.
